Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara grapes sourced from the Camparsi vineyard are dried for 3 months and after fermentation, the wine matures for a further 36 months in small oak barrels.
Paolo Creazzi owns barely 4.5ha in Fumane, in the heart of Valpolicella Classico. These are classic Valpolicellas and Amarones, ranging from wonderfully open and fruity to full-bodied and intensely spicy, but all remarkably pure vinified. Still little known, but in some Decanter tastings they made their mark and came out among the region’s absolute best! The Amarone Riserva even scored as the best wine, ahead of wines from domains like Allegrini, Dal Forno, Bussola, Tedeschi, Monte del Frà, Masi, etc., all wines with different price tags!

Jancis Robinson: “If you drizzled plum syrup infused with thyme over mushrooms and beef and roasted them until it became sticky and dark, you’d have something approximating the flavours of this wine. Wickedly hedonistic. Fills the mouth with warm soothing, and yet with freshness. Plumb bear-hug tannins ” 17/20

Decanter: 90/100; Falstaff: 93/100
