Castello di Cigognola Oltrepò Pavese Barbera Dodicidodici 2020

“Dodicidodici” is a pure Barbera from the Oltrepò Pavese area. It is known for its fragrant and balanced flavour: fresh and harmonious, full-bodied and fruity with hints of wood.
The colour is intense and ruby red. The flavour underpinned by ripe red and black fruits such as cherry, blackberry and blueberry, with hints of pepper and liquorice. On the palate, it is tannic, fresh and full-bodied at the same time, with a long persistence. The Barbera Dodicidodici does excellently with meat preparations.
