Quality over quantity, only 2,500 bottles of this Barbera d’Alba were released. The Barbera shows an intense yet bright ruby red colour with some hues in violet. Fresh red fruit jumps out in the nose: we note cherry, raspberry and blackberry. The dry and intense palate immediately refreshes the mouth. Excellent structure, as often accompanied by fresh acidity.
This wine continues to grow some more, we recommend uncorking it after four or five years. You can do this with many types of dishes – both red and white meat go perfectly with this Barbera d’Alba 2021 by Crissante Alessandria.
