Since 2017, Laurent has also owned some nice parcels in the Côte de Beaune including in Aloxe-Corton. The vineyard was not in perfect condition so it took a year or two to put it in order, but as of 2019, this is a very nice, surprisingly fragrant, fine Côte de Beaune.

Inside Burgundy: “A bright and deep crimson purple. Full of a generous fruit, on the nose, much less dour than the Aloxe-Cortons of yesteryear. A sweetly ripe dark red berry fruit fills out the palate very nicely. Drink from 2027-2031.” ****
