Inside Burgundy: “More lees have been left in the Clos du Roy as it is destined for later bottling. Clear bright pale lemon. The nose is much more reticent and the wine altogether steelier on the palate. It is just at the back that additional white fruit concentration shows through, a lime note at the finish which helps extend the finish. Very promising.” Drink from 2024-2026.
