Domaine Louis-Claude Desvignes Morgon Côte de Py 2019

Broer en zus Louis en Claude Desvignes maken enkele van de mooiste wijnen uit de in Beaujolais. De ecologisch geteelde druiven worden niet ontsteeld en de vinificatie is semi-carbonique met inheemse gisten. De wijnen worden opgevoed in betonnen cuves en er wordt noch geklaard, noch gefilterd bij bottelen. De wijnen zijn jong al erg lekker, maar deze zijn bekend voor hun lange positieve evolutie op fles.

Vinous (Josh Reynolds): “Saturated magenta. Mineral-accented red and blue fruits, succulent flowers and exotic spices on the highly complex nose. Juicy and expansive on the palate, offering smoke-tinged red currant, boysenberry and bitter cherry flavors complemented by violet pastille and white pepper notes. The impressively long, mineral-driven finish features polished tannins and resonating red fruit and floral flourishes.” 94/100
