Saint-Urbain is de “basis” cuvée van Fournier en geeft een mooi beeld van de appelatie Marsannay. Een mooie, diepe kleur, een mooi boeket van rood en zwart fruit, een elegante vrij volle smaak en mooie afdronk.

Wine Advocate (Neal Martin): "The 2014 Marsannay Cuvée St Urbain includes 20% to 25% whole bunch fruit and it is aged for 12 months in large barrels before being transferred into concrete tank. It has a fresh redcurrant and crushed strawberry bouquet, nothing spectacular, but detailed and pretty. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, notes of dark plum and raspberry, though I feel it just lacks a little substance towards the finish, perhaps just a touch of austerity.”
