It's not easy choosing a favorite between Monfalletto and Gattera in this beautifully balanced vintage; however, this wine appeals to those who appreciate more dark blackberry power and fruit weight in their Barolo. The tannins are silky and smooth, showcasing the best of La Morra fruit. I'd pair this with braised meat or any dish involving precious truffles from Alba.." 96/100
