Crissante Alessandria is a strongly emerging estate that fully deserves your attention. The Barolo Capalot comes from a South-East facing vineyard on limestone covered with fine sands. The winemaking process reflects Alessandria's family tradition. The maceration takes about 2 weeks with manually punching down end pumping over. Then the wine matures for 24 months in French oak of 2,25hl and 7hl barrels. Vinification in bottle takes at least 12 months.
