Vinous (Neal Martin): "A selection of 60-year-old vines on rich clayey soils, the 2019 Bourgogne Aligoté En Auvonnes Vieilles Vignes has an attractive nose with honeysuckle, rosewater and light caramelized pear aromas. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity. Touches of orange zest, grapefruit and quince emerge with a lightly spiced finish. Fine.”
