Franck Bonville Champagne Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs "Les Belles Voyes" Brut 2015

The 'Les Belles Voyes' parcel was planted in 1960 at mid-slope on the Oger terroir. The juice is pressed separately and fermented in oak barrels to ensure constant ripeness. The 80 ares that make up the oldest vineyard in the estate bear witness to the origins of the family business. A fine introduction to the wine, from the very first pastry aromas, which are organised around a controlled greediness. The notes of evolution are there, the buttery side asserts itself, full and generous. This rich, full-bodied wine coats fresher, mentholated and iodised notes. The structure of the 2015 is recognisable, marked by the Bonville style, the Belles Voyes style, with a light, airy oxidation. A true gourmet wine, it is equally enjoyable It's a real gourmet wine, but it's just as enjoyable sitting with friends on the low wall of the eponymous plot in the hills above Oger.
