Jules Desjourneys Beaujolais 2021

Jules Desjourneys Beaujolais comes from granite-rich sites. The grapes are harvested at full ripeness and then the whole clusters are vinified in vat for seven days. So this wine is made in the "traditional" Beaujolais method, except that the wine than goes for a few months in wooden barrels before being bottled with little sulphur.

This results in a wine with a lovely fruity bouquet, aromas of cherries, strawberry and even apricots, but also flowery elements and some spicy, peppery notes. On the palate, this Beaujolais offers pure berry fruit, sappy tannins, fresh acidity, a complete joy to drink!
