The Palladino Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba is a richly textured and open-knit Nebbiolo. The priority here shifts to brawn, mouthfeel and muscle, and the bouquet is rather dark and one-dimensional as a result, with ample blackberry and spice, it's a wine of place and less of grape.
