Poivre d’Âne is pure Grenache, harvested in the eastern part of AOC Terrasse du Larzac and vinified and raised in tank without any additives except a minimal dose of sulphite at botteling.
It goes equally well as an aperitif or with a meal, and is perfect for both occasions. With its charming, indulgent, and fruity character, it goes down smoothly. Meanwhile, its delicate spicy notes and a touch of silky texture give it character and set it apart from other natural wines in this price range. An easy-drinking, organic wine, straightforward, with just the right amount of generosity and personality!

In 2013, three friends with a deep knowledge and passion for wine embarked on a unique journey by establishing their own winery dedicated to natural wines. Right from the outset, Poivre d'Âne carried a profound social and political message. They made a resolute choice to eliminate chemicals from their winemaking processes. Instead, they rely on natural yeasts derived from the grapes themselves and use minimal levels of sulfites.
