"Laurent just keeps the best of their large holding for this cuvée. Super luxury black purple colour with a sumptuous dark fruit nose. But it is not too high octane, around 13%, with a light chocolate touch with dark raspberry as the core and a light blood orange touch in there too. "The 2019 Marsannay Les Longeroies is very ripe and decadent on the nose with layers of crème de cassis and blueberry, though like the Clos du Roy it flirts with some over-ripeness. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and thankfully this feels more balanced and fresher than expected, even if there is some oak to be subsumed on the finish. This is a decent Marsannay, though it needs a little more finesse." 88-90/100 Vinous
