Castrum Roche Langhe Nebbiolo 2023
In 2014, Isacco Costamagna took over his grandparents’ land and founded his estate, now covering 2 hectares of Nebbiolo in Torriglione. After supplying grapes to Trediberri for several years, he started producing his own wines in 2021 under the name Castrum Roche. With a very small production (under 7,000 bottles) and strong family support, Isacco is building a promising personal project.
The name Castrum Roche refers to the historical name of Torriglione. Today the estate produces Langhe Nebbiolo, with Barolo and Langhe Rosato to follow. The vineyards are farmed without herbicides or chemical fertilizers, using only minimal, respectful treatments.
