All grapes for this wine come from Vigna Grande, the highest vineyard of the Conca d'Oro in Panzano. Standing in this pure Galestro vineyard you look down on Rampolla, La Massa, Fontodi etc. Balisca is pure Cabernet-Sauvignon, vinified entirely in barrique, 80% new and the wine then matures for another 24 months in these barrels. Without doubt one of the most beautiful, elegant Cabernets from Tuscany, not to be missed.
