Spices, dark red stone fruits, mint and leather all meld together in a pliant, expressive Barbaresco that will drink well early. Sweet floral notes, anise and rose petal are laced throughout the finish. Ripe, silky tannins provide the backdrop for a gracious, understated Barbaresco. The 2011 brings together the freshness of the 2010 with the fruit density of the 2009, a pretty appealing combination in my book.” 94/100 Vinous
