This Barbera d'Alba matures entirely on concrete, allowing the intense red/purple and remarkably pure fruit to dominate with nuances of lavender and spice. At the table, it is a true all-rounder that pairs perfectly with pasta, rice and soup or with cooked and grilled meat, but lends itself equally well as an aperitif with an antipasti of fine meats.
