Castello dei Rampolla Cabernet-Sauvignon 2012
This was De Di Napoli’s first commercially released amphora wine. The wines ferment and age in earthenware amphorae and are bottled after a few months with no added sulphur. They are very characterful, wines, very intense and quite austere in the first few years. Now, after several years of bottle ageing, it is a characterful, truly “Tuscan” Cabernet with a creamy-full yet vibrant flavour, a special experience for those open to it.
