Productgegevens

Crissante Alessandria is a strongly emerging estate that fully deserves your attention.

The Barolo del Comune di La Morra is only in its second vintage. The wine is made from grapes sourced from three vineyards belonging to la Morra. The southeastern, clay-rich soils of the Contrada Roggeri account for more than half and form the backbone of this Barolo. Some 40% are respectively supplied from the vineyards of San Biagio and Betolotti, where the soils are slightly richer in sand. They provide the beautiful, lifted aromas of this Barolo.

In turn, the winemaking process reflects Allessandria’s family tradition. The maceration takes about 2 weeks. Then the wine matures for 24 months in large Slovenian oak. Vinification in bottle takes at least 12 months.
