“Trois Terres” was always one of Marsannay’s finest wines. Laurent lost 2 of the three sources for this wine and from 2018 decided to make this wine from a selection at Clos du Roy, Longeroies and Es Chezots. As beautiful as previous versions were, this is perhaps the finest Trois Terres he has already made. Very successful in 2021, very structured, a wine with a long future ahead!

An immense mouthful where the concentrated and relatively extracted style works very well. There is a liveliness at the back with a fresher red fruit allied to some ripe dark berries – perfectly on the cusp between the two, with a harmonious structure. Very long finish.
