In 2011, Laurent Fournier created this cuvée from only “millerandé” grapes (unfertilised, small grapes without pips). Fully vinified in wooden barrels, it is a dark, very dense, powerful wine and despite that density, the tannins remain supple and creamy. One would rather place this as a Grand Cru from Gevrey-Chambertin than Marsannay!
