This vineyard was completely replanted with the highest quality planting material at an unseen density of 13,000 vines per hectare! Add to that controlled yields, chalky terroir, judicious vinification and ageing on demi-muids by the renowned Austrian cooper Stockinger and you realise that this is going to be a truly magnificent white Burgundy.

Inside Burgundy: “Mid lemon yellow with a fresher green streak. The bouquet has a softer ripeness but with still a streak indicating some backbone, but more patisserie always in this cuvée. Good length behind, this is like an upmarket St-Urbain that has borrowed some backbone from Clos du Roy.” Drink from 2024-2026.
