Domaine Jean Fournier Marsannay “Cuvée Saint Urbain” 2022

Saint-Urbain is Fournier’s “base” cuvée and nicely portrays the Marsannay appellation. A beautiful, deep colour, a lovely bouquet of red and black fruit, an elegant full-bodied palate and nice finish.

Inside Burgundy – Jasper Morris MW: “Just racked. A rich purple colour. Inky and concentrated, slightly lactic, good acidity behind, a mix of red and black fruit, slight gamey sweetness at the finish, but I think nothing sinister. Plenty of wine here once again. Drink from 2026-2029.” ***
