Domaine Philippe Colin Puligny-Montrachet 1°cru “Les Demoiselles” 2022

“Les Demoiselles” is een wijngaard die grotendeels is geïncorporeerd in Grand Cru “Le Montrachet”, wat overbleef wordt meestal verkocht als “Caillerets”, de Puligny premier cru met de beste reputatie… Deze komt van de eerste rijen net ten noorden van de Grand Cru en dat is er aan te proeven…!

Inside Burgundy Jasper Morris MW: “One new barrel made. This vintage sees the first inclusion of the new replanting. Mid lemon colour. The nose is powerful but not yet explicit, though the fruit has the upper hand. On the palate it is 50:50 but, in this instance, I have confidence that the wine will be the winner as this Demoiselles grows towards maturity. The potential is superb, with an exquisite finish, once you factor out the oak. Drink from 2027-2035..” 92-96/100
