With only about three acres under vine, Greer will be a new name to many consumers, despite having been in existence as a wine label since the 2007 vintage. Located on Manley Lane in Rutherford, across from Staglin and abutting Morisoli and Joseph Phelps’s Manley Lane vineyard (an important Insignia component), it’s a fabulous location, and with the wine made by Aaron Pott, I was blown away by the quality of the 2018 and 2019 vintages.”
