Ricchi Garda Carpino 2015

From 100% Merlot, dried for 2-3 weeks. After temperature-controlled fermentation with long maceration, the wine goes for 12 months in 500litre oak barrels, 1/3 new. Then at least another 10 months in bottle. This is Ricchi’s top wine, a very full-bodied, powerful, nuanced Merlot that can age for a long time. Simply a super tasty, powerful and refined wine, a great alternative to much more expensive Pomerols and at an unlikely density of 40gr/l!
