Topiary Franschhoek Cabernet-Sauvignon 2015

Topiary is the new project of Philippe Colin, one of the best winemakers in Burgundy. For several years, Philippe has been in complete control on his own and has been able to invest in top equipment and the wines are getting more beautiful year after year. Definitely worth a try!

Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): (about 2006, then not made by Philippe Colin) “Saturated, deep ruby-red. Cassis, bitter chocolate, licorice and spicy oak on the rather modern nose. Intense but rather unsubtle dark berry and oak flavors dominate the palate. Finishes with dusty, building, oak-powered tannins.“
