Inside Burgundy Jasper Morris MW: “Philippe kept the Combes and his son Simon got Charmois when the vineyards were divided up. Pale in colour, the nose suggests a little sucrosity. There is plenty of white fruit to be found at the back of the palate, and this Combes comes across as less overtly rich than the Chassagne. Fine length. Drink from 2025-2030.” 90-93/100
